Secrets the Vine is one of my favorite adults only resorts because of its convenience, amenities and overall vibe! The resort is just 15 minutes from the Cancun Airport, so it is super convenient for a quick 3 or 4 night stay! You don’t waste tons of time to and from the airport so you have time to enjoy the pools, beach and fantastic food!
I recently did a quick girls trip and we were SO spoiled up in the preferred club! We paid a little more and got such nice amenities to make the experience just a little more boujee! We got an expedited personalized check in in the preferred club lounge, all days snacks and exclusive bar for preferred club guests only, free upgrade because it was available, and top shelf liquors. If we had wanted there was a preferred club seating, but we just hung out in the pools so we threw our stuff in one loungers and called it a day!
Service- Bar service brought us drinks all day to the pool and the cheffy even randomly brought us cookies to try right to the pool! I will say that was a little magical… We didn’t even know we wanted a cookie but there he was and I’m not turning down a homemade cookie brought right to me! There were three different pools and one had some entertainment at it, plus the beach was really pretty! Being in the hotel zone, they usually have minimal seagrass so for me, that pretty beach is a huge draw! Tips are already included in your all inclusive stay, but I find a $20 at the beginning of the day to the pool servers will take care of a lot of things! I don’t know where my precluded tips are going and I always want to personally take care of my servers!
Security- As a group of 4 women, I was happy to see security checking arrivals and also at the beach to make sure that people coming in and out were accounted for and supposed to be in the resort.
Restaurants – There are 8 eateries included in your stay here! My favorite was the Sushi Restaurant for appetizers. Flaming sushi is where it’s at! The French restaurant was also really good- I loved the Mushroom Risotto. The coffee shop (also included) was awesome in the morning! I feel like sometimes my coffee order gets lost in translation in other countries but my coffee was perfect! They had little pastries and fruit for a quick bite, but also there were plenty of options for a full breakfast.
I give this a resort at 10/10 because I was constantly impressed by it and I had zero negative encounters or drawbacks to the resort! It is perfect for a couples getaway or friends group!
